About us

EMS PreCab is a young company that has specialised in making prefabricated cabins and wet units for cruise ships. With an annual capacity of around 6000 cabins and around 6000 wet units, EMS PreCab is one of the most important partners of MEYER WERFT.

In 2007, strategic reasons prompted MEYER WERFT to settle the production of prefabricated cabins for its cruise ships in the near vicinity. To this end, the company EMS PreCab was founded and settled in the Deverhafen area in Papenburg.

Manufacturing is carried out in modern, innovative continuous flow production. Working to the same principles as the automotive industry, the company is thus in a position to make cabins and wet units to the highest technical and quality standards. As a result, customers are offered a wide range of many different cabins and wet units.

The fact that quality is of special importance to the company is demonstrated by its DIN EN ISO 9001 certification. The company has had this certification for its quality management system since 2009 until 2021. A new re-certification for the DIN EN ISO 9001 certification is aimed for the years 2027/2028.

With the successful continuation of DIN EN ISO 50001 certification in 2015, the company confirmed its commitment to effective energy management and sustainability. Through the continual and energetic improvement of products, infrastructure and production processes, the company is contributing to reaching national and European energy and climate goals.
